Amarillo Mayor Ginger Nelson has announced she’s seeking re-election for mayor of Amarillo.
Nelson says she wants to take advantage of the momentum in the city with the economic growth and several projects like the Civic Center.
She went on to say how every voice in the citizens’ committee needs to be heard when it comes to the future of the civic center.
Mayor Nelson also mentioned the importance of developing students skills to prepare them for the workforce.
